To help bring a new luxury brand to market.
Having come up with a bag design that combines the practicality and functionality of a rucksack with the aesthetics of a handbag, our client needed a brand identity that would reflect the product’s quality and elegance. We took the concept of wearing something on one’s back and used a turtle as a symbol. The logo was carefully considered so that it would work online, in print and, importantly, as a badge on the bag itself. In line with our client’s desire to work with British manufacturers, we sourced a silversmithing company to produce enamelled badges. Luxac is only available online, so the website had to work hard. We commissioned a photography shoot to capture the quality, detail and quirkiness of the bags and ensured that the images have maximum exposure on the website.
As a fledgling business without a large marketing budget, Luxac still managed to attract the attention of fashion editors and high-end publications. Awareness of the brand is growing, as are the sales figures, and Radius continues to work with the client on an ongoing basis.
