Previously very basic and with only product codes to differentiate one lamp from another, the packaging needed to work harder to engage the consumer and make it easier to shop the range.
Lighting is all about atmosphere; lamps are more than simple functional items, they are stylish accessories that demand careful consideration at the point of purchase. Based on the idea that lighting can be used to create certain moods and add magic to even the most mundane surroundings, we developed a range of product names that evoke feelings of calm, romance and pleasure. Each name started with a different letter enabling easy identification between the product on display and the packaging on shelf. Product photography was highly stylised for impact.
Unfortunately, the client didn't switch on to this concept and it was never implemented.
